QuickTime
The current free version of QuickTime is 4.1.2. Go
here to install it. Please note that the movie files will
not run using earlier versions of the program.
About browsers ...
We've tested the tour in both Internet Explorer and Netscape, on the
Mac and on PCs. It runs a bit better in Explorer (although you may need
to set your memory higher). Formatting doesn't entirely transfer in Netscape.
Important: keep in mind that everything you see in the tour
movies, slideshows, illustrations, and audios has been edited for
the web. Depending on the bandwidth your computer can handle, movies
and audios may run slowly and the picture may be blurry. The quality on
the How To Read a Film DVD itself,
of course, is as superb as you'd expect it to be.
